This year TSA Group celebrated 20 years in business.
While our rapid rise from start-up to scaled-up over this period is worthy of reflection and celebration, it’s also right for us to look to the future, because I believe our greatest achievements are yet to come.
From our humble beginnings in a rented house in suburban Perth back in 1997, to our expansive Australian and Philippines footprint today, our business has always been about dreaming big.
So although we’re a large business today, we respect where we’ve come from by retaining the heart and soul of a small business. We’ve always known that we only succeed if our clients succeed, which is why our purpose will always be to help our clients’ businesses thrive.
Our industry is dynamic and ever-changing, but so are we – flexibility and responsiveness are our strengths, and this has always set us apart from our competition. We know that technology is changing the way that people are interacting with their service providers, but this presents the biggest opportunity for us yet. We’re a business of connectors, and we provide the human touch that a machine or an algorithm can’t. We know how to talk to people, how to meet their needs and importantly, how to sell – and we make the complex, simple.
And with that in mind, I want to reflect on the most important part of our business: our people. What I’m most proud of is that over the last 20 years, we’ve given opportunities to people from all walks of life. We’ve always taken the view that if you back yourself in to work hard, to learn and to be a team player, there’s a role for you in our business.
This ‘One TSA’ spirit has enabled our business to grow rapidly and outperform our competitors time and time again. Most importantly, we do this without taking ourselves too seriously and having a lot of fun – it’s ‘The TSA Way’.
So to everyone who has been part of our story – team members, clients, suppliers and friends – thanks for the first 20 years. May there be many more to come!
